This notice explains how Magic Marco uses personal information received through this website. Magic Marco is the controller of that information.

Information collected through enquiries

If you use the enquiry form, you are asked for your name, telephone number, email address, event date and event location. You may also choose to provide details such as the event type, guest numbers and preferred performance time. Please do not include sensitive personal information in the form.

Marco uses this information to respond, check availability, discuss your event and, if you decide to proceed, take steps towards providing the requested service. The lawful basis is contract: the processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, or to perform a contract with you.

Enquiries that do not result in a booking are kept for up to 12 months after the last contact, then deleted unless there is a legal reason to keep them longer. Information connected with a booking may be retained for longer where it is needed to perform the booking, resolve a dispute or meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.

Your information is not used for mailing lists or sold to other organisations.

Form and hosting providers

The enquiry form is processed by FormSubmit, which sends the submitted information to Marco by email. FormSubmit processes that information to provide and secure its service. You can read FormSubmit's privacy terms.

The site requests styles and fonts from W3Schools, Google Fonts and Font Awesome. When your browser connects to these providers, they receive technical information such as your IP address and browser request. Links to Facebook and LinkedIn do not send you to those services until you choose to follow them.

These providers may process information outside the UK, including in the United States. Where personal information is transferred internationally, the provider's contractual safeguards and applicable transfer mechanisms apply. Their own privacy notices explain their handling of information in more detail.

Analytics and cookies

Magic Marco does not currently use Google Analytics or set analytics or advertising cookies on this site. The hosting and external-content providers may process technical request data as described above. If optional analytics is introduced later, this notice and the site's consent controls will be updated before it is enabled.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may have the right to ask for access to your personal information, correction or deletion of it, restriction of its use, or transfer of information you supplied. You may also have the right to object to some uses of your information.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office, the UK data protection regulator.
